System Engineer

Description

The ideal candidate will help build, maintain, and troubleshoot the company's rapidly expanding line of products. will work alongside other engineers to ensure the highest levels of performance and ability and manage any problems that arise.

Job description:

• Responsible for all aspects of a project system engineering: 
• Provide system requirements and constraints specifications
• Lead conceptual design: define a system architecture consistent with the requirements
• Responsible for system modeling, simulations and performance evaluation
• Lead Verification and Validation activities
• Conduct system performance analysis
• Technical lead of interdisciplinary projects, be a focal point for emerging R&D issues.
• Define interfaces and coordinate between different disciplines and teams: hardware, software, mechanics, physics, engineering, QA, marketing, customer service and others in Camtek. 
•  Provide documentation and supervise design transfer to production and service departments.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Engineering (preferably Mechanical, Electrical) or Physics – required
• Msc in Systems Engineering – an advantage
• At least five years of experience in developing multidisciplinary systems, combining electro-optics, electro-mechanics or motion control – required
• Familiarity with geometrical optics and hands-on laboratory experience with optical components – required
• Managerial experience or strong leadership capabilities – required
• Experienced in Matlab, Python, C# or other high-level programming language - required
• Full professional proficiency in English, written and verbal – required
• Proven experience from the semiconductor industry – an advantage
• Creative approach, problem-solver, analytical mindset
