Testers & Jigs Technical Project Manager
Description
Job Objective:
Leading and transferring the development of new testers, jigs, and fixtures for new company products (NPI processes) from early stage to delivery.
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Project Management: Lead complex multi-disciplinary development processes from early design stages through to final delivery, ensuring alignment with all company directives.
- Subcontractor Management & Guidance: Manage, guide, and oversee external subcontractors and internal resources; support suppliers and partners directly with engineering and design issues.
- Requirements & SOW Creation: Author, define, and write highly detailed technical requirement specifications, Statements of Work (SOW), and official work procedures.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Synchronize internal interfaces and lead complex workflows across Engineering, Logistics, and Operations work environments.
- Lifecycle Management: Manage product plans, engineering changes, and documentation utilizing PLM systems.
Requirements
Education & Experience:
- Education: B.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electronic Engineering.
- Project Management: Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in technical project management and/or engineering roles.
- Technical Design Background: Proven experience in the design and development of tools, machines, jigs, fixtures, or test equipment (Testers).
- Vendor & Subcontractor Management: Solid, proven track record of managing, directing, and collaborating with external subcontractors and suppliers.
- Engineering Domain Knowledge: Strong familiarity with Hardware (HW) and Mechanical engineering design methodologies, workflows, and constraints.
- Systems: Hands-on experience working within a PLM system environment.
Skills & Competencies:
- Technical Writing: Exceptional written communication skills in English, with a specific focus on writing clear technical specifications, SOWs, and procedures.
- Languages: Full professional proficiency in both English and Hebrew (written and oral).
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical, logical, and mathematical thinking, combined with hands-on technical troubleshooting experience.
- Digital Literacy: Extensive familiarity with computer applications, internet tools, and advanced AI tools.
